The ridiculous censorship, edits, deleted posts over at reddit has killed my interest in the site, but if the users from r/guns and others can come here without bringing the BS from reddit, that would be great.

Officially it's not, but in reality it became nothing but shitty Glock / AK pics.

Check out Forgotten Weapons on youtube. It's exactly what you're looking for.
That was r/firearms that was all memes and shitty pictures. Their HitlerMod is running /v/firearms last I checked.
The most annoying part of Reddit for me is the poor S/N. For example, a guy asks what the two little grooves are on the Glock 42 trigger pin. He receives 9 replies, of which only 1 is correct and informative, and 8 are 1) people having no clue what the grooves are for and speculating "surely they are related to the function of the gun or Glock would not put them there" (BTW, FALSE, check your assumptions), 2) people who cannot read squat and assume OP talks about big grooves into which the slide stop latches, 3) an idiot suggesting him to discard Glock 42 and buy Glock 43. And this happens to every goddamn post. Seriously redditors, fuck you. If you don't KNOW, shut the fuck up. Grrr... I wish there was some way not to import that pattern of behaviour from /r/guns.
