How the actual fuck am I still below average in the U.S.? I'm 6'4" 233 (from being swole) which puts me just under the 50% mark

You ever been to the Southern US? People with healthy BMI's are like unicorns. Hell, more than half of "Swole" (their words, not an attack on a fellow shitlord) scene in the South is just guys who played high school football and just went on permanent bulk afterwards. Its crazy to watch a 300lb dude deadlift and never see a vein.

I've no idea, there must be just really big boned 'average' people everywhere. I haven't visited in a while though.

Well, TIL I'm most like a Thai.
I have a lower BMI than 86% of the males in my age range 30-44. Must be because I'm not that swole right? /s

I'm most like some one from Togo. I feel ashamed I don't know a thing about that country. I have a lower BMI than 89% of males in the USA ages 30-44. Lower than 63% world wide.
Edit : Going to have to look up Togo.

Interesting thought, how many of us have been to our country of comparison? I can't be the only one.

Your numbers Obesity Index 18bmi BMI is an estimate of how "overweight" or "obese" a person is National Below average You have a lower BMI than 93% of females aged 15-29 in your country Global Below average You have a lower BMI than 83% of females aged 15-29 in the world
Did you know? If everyone in the world had the same BMI as you, it would remove 72,169,989 tonnes from the total weight of the world's population You're most like someone from Vietnam* * Compared with other females aged 15-29 in Vietna

I'm not going to put my number, just sufficient to say I think we're all a little surprised to see how "well" we scored against the population.
I think my exact words were, "Holy shit balls"
My favorite part,
You're most like someone from Liberia
It seems I need to go to Liberia to find my people.
edit: Okay... I googled it, on second thought Liberia may not be the best place for me.

Personally, as a 5'5 21 year old woman currently weighing 124 pounds (and losing, I wanna hit 120ish), I have a BMI of 21, have a lower BMI than 77% of my age group in my country (Norway) and a lower BMI than 62% of women in my age group on a global scale. If everyone weighed the same as me, it would remove 38,425,685 tonnes from the total weight of the world's population.
EDIT: I redid it with US as my country of origin. I'm apparantly smaller than 89% of women in my age group, rofl.

It goes up if you change the age group to older too. Even less people over 30 have a BMI of 21.
