It's often ignored in debates as well, like with the whole trans bathroom issue. Clearly some people would cause more alarm by having to use the bathroom of their sex, but I fail to see how having a biological male who looks, acts, and dresses like a man, but somehow thinks of himself as a woman being in women's bathrooms/locker rooms is a good idea- not even primarily because of those individuals (bc how common could they really be if we're to assume it's a legit thing), but because of the fact that anyone can claim to be nonconforming just to get access to places they shouldn't be. Every time I have mentioned this particular issue it goes completely ignored.

Whoa, easy there... trans people don't just "claim" to be transgender and "get access to places". There are several steps they have to take before being able to claim anything. Reality is far different from Tumblr. I've never seen a real trans woman who looked, acted and dressed like a man, especially because, in order for them to change their names, they're required to act and dress as the gender they want to belong to.

Someone who looks, acts and dresses like a man outside of a stage is a man, I've never known of anyone trying to violate this rule.

I didn't say they did. As a matter of fact, I explicitly stated that trans people were not the people I was concerned about.

I said the fact that nonconforming trans is a thing (I'm not debating it's legitimacy, but the fact that people assert that it is legitimate), if taken seriously, it would provide an opening for people who aren't trans to get access to places they shouldn't be by simply claiming they are, given that being nonconforming requires nothing more than one's word.
