The Prince is a 16th-century political treatise by the Italian diplomat and political theorist Niccolò Machiavelli. The Little Prince is a children's book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry that has been adapted into a play, musical, and cartoon about a young Prince that leaves his asteroid home and crash lands on the earth.

Best part? In the future, people will take the book at face value, instead of recognizing it as satire. Just like they do with The Prince.

Many great books are misunderstood because they go over the poor educated audience's head.

FYI: The belief that The Prince was satire only became a popular interpretation in the 19th/20th century. Today, however, most scholars agree that it most likely wasn't a satire and actually reflected Machiavelli's views.

These are statements made by people who haven't actually read any of Machiavelli's other works. The book contradicts everything else Machiavelli ever wrote and everything we know about his life.
