I would love to see Trump run as an independent and win. This would do wonders for our political system which has been in a strangle hold of the Democrats and Republicans for so long.
[–] the_magic_man 0 points 11 points 11 points (+11|-0) ago
Not a snowballs chance in hell that he'll win as an independent.
[–] DerpExpress [S] 0 points 6 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago
He could if its Bush vs Clinton vs Trump vs Gary Johnson
[–] darthskids 0 points 4 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago
Perhaps. There's also not a chance in hell that a Republican will win if he runs independent. So we will really get to see the GOP's true colors.

Look America needs to get comfortable with an Alpha male in the White House this includes RINO's and the Dems.

This was supposed to be Jeb's!? How dare the plebs not support the correct political dynasties of the oligarchy!
[–] DerpExpress [S] 4 points 17 points 21 points (+21|-4) ago
The Republican Establishment won't support Trump if he wins the nomination, and the Trump supporters are not about to accept a Cuck instead.
[–] didntsayeeeee 0 points 6 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago
Trump and the Republican establishment need to make a deal. Trump is good at deals, or so he claims.
[–] darthskids 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
That's up to the GOP. Those fucks have been neglecting the core of their constituency for the longest time. If they decide they aren't going to honor their own election process then it's up to the fucking republicans of this country to throw them the fuck out.
[–] darthskids 0 points 5 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago (edited ago)
Sure, but that's their fault for being so easy to tear down. When you spend years pandering to ideological bullshit while being fiscally irresponsible and out of touch with the majority of your constituents, don't be surprised when someone eats your lunch.
[–] sp00kygh0st 1 point 2 points 3 points (+3|-1) ago
Why would he ruin his legacy at the age of 69. I'm pretty sure he's out giving 5 rallies a week because he wants to win
[–] CrazyBelgian 0 points 6 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago
Yeah we're pretty much fucked either way. Can't say there is any candidate I really want to win on either side...
[–] sp00kygh0st 3 points 4 points 7 points (+7|-3) ago
Purge the GOPe Trump. Save this country from the cucks

So...~70% of the ~30% who support him? That's still a good chunk of voters, but not enough to worry the GOP about losing, by my yardstick. Most voters are going to pick between one of the two main party candidates, no matter who they are. All the GOP should be worried about is Trump splitting the vote a little, not taking the election away from them.

The GOP would rather have a Dem in office than a Republican they can't control.
[–] theburntsausage 6 points 13 points 19 points (+19|-6) ago
and by GOP you mean the Isreal.
[–] Capt_Rye 0 points 11 points 11 points (+11|-0) ago
