I'm with you 100%. It pisses me off how it's always about extremes with these people. "Skinny bitches spend 6 hours a day at the gym and eat only cucumbers! That's why they are skinny!"
Ughhhhh, hey fattie: It's been over a month since I stepped in to a gym and I still lost weight! And guess what? I ate a cheeseburger today! I just didn't have 6 of them and I went for a walk out in the snow!

This, exactly. I maintain on ~1400 calories and would have to struggle to eat over 2000 calories a day. I can't imagine how I would gain a significant amount of weight unless it involved eating to the point of being uncomfortable for weeks in a row. :/

Are you really tiny? I'd be like 90lbs if that was my maintenance.

I'm on the lower end of the normal BMI range but yeah, I'm largely sedentary at the moment due to finals and such. :(

Same here, im 18 dude. At the start of 2015 I was at 25bmi and I realized i didnt want to become a hamlet so I just cut down on food and in 2 months I lost 12kilo, no excersise just walking around and eating in moderation. Now i dont excersice, i walk 3 miles a day tk school and back and spend the rest of the day doing schoolwork and internet. I am 73-74 kilos at 184cm. Fatties just dont have an excuse, i mean I eat sweets but somehow I dont get fat. I cant imagine how much crap these hams eat to get THAT big.

You are 6 foot 160 and 18 years old. If you were to clean up your diet and hit the gym you would get swole as fuck. Perfect age.

I know, gonna be done with all application/SAT crap this month and will have time to clear myself up

Being thin is better than being fat, but you can still be unhealthy and die early when you are thin and don't take care of yourself. I know many thin people who have died early.

I totally get where you're coming from. Now for me, I have actually cut back on a lot and as a result I think my preferences for food have changed since it's been so long since I cut a lot of crap out of my diet. But from time to time a little chocolate never hurts, especially delicious dark chocolate. But yeah, for the most part I'm not on an extreme diet although I do check my calories and go pretty strictly by serving size. I do also go to the gym, but at this point it's less about a sense of obligation and more related to the fact that I just like to exercise.
It's a pretty shitty generalization, I agree with you. You don't have to be vegan and a gym rat/bunny to be skinny..

I don't get it either. i don't watch what i eat. don't exercise at all. sit in front of my computer all the time. fast food at least once a week. meat and potatoes all the frigging time. I used to be 230lb but i'm 155lb now. All just from eating the right portions and cutting down on sugar. that's literally it.

How tall are you? Im 6'2 and recently weighed 220 and after about 2 months of less and better eating and now weigh 190. Just trying to get a gauge of what a healthy weight is for your height compared to mine.
