This, exactly. I maintain on ~1400 calories and would have to struggle to eat over 2000 calories a day. I can't imagine how I would gain a significant amount of weight unless it involved eating to the point of being uncomfortable for weeks in a row. :/

Are you really tiny? I'd be like 90lbs if that was my maintenance.

If you are a girl who sits at a desk all day and is less active that's pretty normal. I am 5'10" and I'm around there. 1500 some days.

I'm on the lower end of the normal BMI range but yeah, I'm largely sedentary at the moment due to finals and such. :(

I completely agree! I'm 22, female, 5'6, about 128 lbs (perfectly healthy weight), a full time student, and lazy as shit. I eat chocolate about every evening, and only occasionally go on walks with my bf. And I'm not fucking fat! The fat chicks in my program (which is a terminal degree, so you'd expect some semblance of logic, but in vain) are always going on about how they don't understand how I can have gotten SKINNER (oh heaven forbid I lost maybe 5 lbs? Probably from walking through campus for school) since we got here, because "stress" makes them gain weight and oh I must have "magic genes". Like no bitch, half my family is fucking fat. I just don't eat a whole pizza when the school offers free lunch :/ Then if I refuse to shove 2nd or 3rds of free food down my face, they rag on me for how I need to not lose any weight "or my boobs will go away"...yeah, because wearing a 32 DD bra at a roughly 20.8 bmi totally means I only have boobs cause I'm fat hahaha

I'm pretty sure I could totally let everything go - stop working out and eat whatever I want within reason - and never go over a bmi of 25. For me that's like 175 lbs. That's what I weighed when I was 9 months pregnant with an 9 lb baby.

Key words: within reason. That's what they don't get.

Yeah. I've never been overweight, but in college I ate whatever I wanted. Finding FPH at the beginning of this year made me realize that I was chubby though. Maybe not by American standards, but I think I was chubby. So now I'm down 15 lbs and I'm losing more weight by watching my calorie intake.

CICO, bitches. The fats may complain all they want, but in the end, thermodynamics is thermodynamics.

Same here, im 18 dude. At the start of 2015 I was at 25bmi and I realized i didnt want to become a hamlet so I just cut down on food and in 2 months I lost 12kilo, no excersise just walking around and eating in moderation. Now i dont excersice, i walk 3 miles a day tk school and back and spend the rest of the day doing schoolwork and internet. I am 73-74 kilos at 184cm. Fatties just dont have an excuse, i mean I eat sweets but somehow I dont get fat. I cant imagine how much crap these hams eat to get THAT big.

You are 6 foot 160 and 18 years old. If you were to clean up your diet and hit the gym you would get swole as fuck. Perfect age.

They eat all the fuckin time. It's ridiculous. Normal people only eat when they are hungry. For instance I don't have a set time that I eat lunch or dinner. I just wait until I get hungry, it's noon right now I'm not hungry yet so hence I'm not eating on my lunch break. Fats do not comprehend that concept at all.

I had 100g chocolate as my after-lunch snack. Heavy cardio later today, feels good.

It's because the shit you eat is probably full of dietary fiber. When I snack on fruit I later find out I don't get hungry again for a while, but if I snack on chips or something, Ill be hungry again after a coulee of hours. And chips are worse for you anyway, ounce for ounce; one ounce of chips is like 200 calories, while you could eat an apple that weighs maybe 6-8 ounces and it will be 150-200 calories.

Other than that yeah it's just the difference of not eating the whole package, or not eating unhealthily all the time. And TBH a lot of people don't pay attention to portion sizes. I think those bottles of soda you get at gas stations are 2 servings, but I never see anyone set them aside, they always drink it all at once.
