If we define "sarcasm" by "highlighting someone's flaws in an humorous yet offensive manner", we can go past that just by taking away the only good part i.e. humor. The result is a direct insult, no bells and whistles.
If by "past" you mean "even less directly", we keep humor but we have to change the "highlighting" to something more subtle i.e. "hinting". I don't know if there's a name for that, but I know subtle sarcasm is certainly possible but quite difficult to practice.
