I always love saying I eat so much, but can't seem to gain any weight. Seeing the anger on people's faces...it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

"She's getting too skinny."

If that's verbatim as you said, then it doesn't confirm that the co-worker is skinny. Just in their eyes she is getting "too skinny."

So yeah likely she is skinny (I do think it is the case)

But there's also the chance she's just less fat then them and maybe outpacing them on a weightloss contest and trying to get out the bucket.

I'm not familiar with the other coworker but I have a feeling you're correct.

Having skinny people around is bad for self esteem. Kinda like my "friend" who always offered my cigarettes because he didn't want to smoke outside alone

But but I thought that weight is out of your control? They obviously know then that eating shitty food will make you fat if they intend to "fatten her up" by feeding her rice krispie treats.

Ugh. My boss wanted to get me an ice cream cake for my last day because they are cheap and own an ice cream store. Too bad I hate cake and I am allergic to ice cream. They got the cake anyway. Good thing my other coworker who actually knows me brought in 20 delicious egg rolls.

Now I can't stop thinking of that episode of The Office were Michael Scott gets Meredith an ice cream cake when he knows she's lactose intolerant

This is how jealous fats are of non-fats. Their coworker isn't even there, she's way back in the office, she hasn't done anything to them, she may not have even spoken to them today; but she's in their minds because all they can think about is how fat they are and how much they hate that. They are out for coffee where a normal person would think about coffee, or chatting with their friend, or hobbies, or the weekend, or work, or goals, or anything, but fats' lives are centred around being fat and how much they know it.
