They're pretty, and the work it takes to do some of them is amazing. But one of my favorites was on my girlfriend's street there was a sort of unspoken competition going on. So, her father put up about a two foot string, of maybe 6 lights, across his door.

I keep it simple. A few decorations inside, but I don't see the point of Christmas decorations outside.

But what about the ones that are so MEGGA gross people come from miles around to see them and the house owner has done it to raise money for charity?

And the wonder in the eyes of little children? I know my son loves it on the drive home..its part of his build up to Xmas.

Do you have an OTT light display near you. Do you stop in awe and wonder or wonder if there is a plug you could sabotage... tinfoil, wire and rubber gloves btw
