I think he's an actual misogynist.

Did anyone read the articles? She was acquitted of murder by the Jury and is serving time for a gun charge. The male in the other article posted a picture of her dead body and WAS. FOUND. GUILTY. by jury. Been reading long? Wait. You guys are joking, right?

Only 5 years for murdering her husband. With an exercise yard and gym. Okay, sure. That isn't completely bullshit or anything because every woman is a victim in one way or another!
After the denial of her appeal before the highest appellate court in the state, Barbara Sheehan will likely spend the next three and a half years at the Albion State Correctional Facility in Rochester, New York. Sheehan was acquitted of murder charges in the 2008 shooting death of her husband, former NYPD sergeant Raymond Sheehan, but faces prison time for a secondary gun charge.
Went back and read the article, she's only facing a secondary gun charge. Not for shooting a police sergeant or anything.

Went back and read the article, she's only facing a secondary gun charge.
A couple of others pointed this out. This was the sixth or seventh article I read about her and I thought she'd been convicted. That doesn't change anything though, the crime and punishment remain the same.

Sorry everyone is shitting on you, OP. I just meant to say it's stupid that a freakin' gun charge is all she got slapped with. Killing a cop is usually a pretty heavy sentence, so I think it's silly that she was acquitted of such a large charge.

Men are more successful because they don't get womans privilege.

Do your research about prison conditions, please. Most sources (here is the APA) find women's services in prison to actually be lacking when compared to the programs offered to men. Also, the conditions for medium level security are the same for men and women.. She was acquitted on the murder charge and is actually serving for a different offense as per your article. If she had been found guilty, it'd be highly unlikely she would have gone to Albion according to New York law, she would have probably gone to Bedford Hills, a maximum security prison. There are no kid gloves here, you are just twisting the topic.
Abuse of any kind is a very serious thing which should not be diminutized because of gender. You may find this site of value, which campaigns to raise awareness for domestic violence against men and tries to get prisons to adopt programs for battered men.

Nope. And that's not even going into overcrowding/guard numbers.
So she wasn't even convicted? That hardly makes the situation any better, and definitely constitutes being handled with kid gloves.
All I'm calling for is equality. If the defence works for women it should work for men too.
