I don't like Christmas music in general. It's oddly annoying. For some reason, Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer and Santa Claus is Coming to Town really make me angry. I think I hate the latter because I discovered that Santa didn't exist relatively early on my childhood. I'm also upset that my parents lied to me about Santa. It's not the only way my parents violated me, but at least Santa Claus didn't ruin my my genitals.

I don't find Xmas music depressing, but irritating...It's the same 10 songs over and over again, and it rings in your head over and over again until you flush it out by playing a different song. I wouldn't willingly tolerate hearing Xmas music unless someone gave me FIVE...GOLD...RINGS!!!!!

Hate it so damn much....
But really i wonder how much is the music itself, the season, and how much is my longest, and worst, retail job played an Xmas CD on the overhead speaker that was only 1/2 an hour long. 9 hours a day, 5 days a week. PTSD by way of retail.

Now that I'm not depressed, no. It's great. You probably have depression.

I know I am right now. SO is battling cancer and I feel like shit. The music never used to bum me out so you might be on to something.
