Many hams see themselves as normal. They are surrounded by other hams so that's what they compare themselves to. That's why they think normal people are anorexic. They're so used to seeing other hams that a normal body looks weird to them.

I get this too. My BMI is 22 (I think? 5'6" 125 lbs...) and I'm often called "tiny" by my boyfriend. (He's 5'11" 160 and losing) I feel so bad for him that he's been brainwashed to think that I'm "tiny." You should have seen his reaction when he met my itty bitty Indian friend. She's barely 5' with heels on and 85 lbs soaking wet. xD freakin midget but I love her

Yeah, they think you have to be as big as the things on my 600 lb life in order to be obese.

You know, I remember once when my grandpa was still alive... he used to say that fat people belonged in circus sideshows and county fairs as attractions. He'd say it with a look of nostalgia in his eyes, as if he longed for those days once again.

I wasn't around for those days, but I long for them. Just a few manageable obeasts.

I'm a big fan of supersize v superskinny. Just the massive difference between the two reels me in, I don't know know why.

is this just aimed at smaller fats who want to go "at least i'm not THAT freak, snarf chomp"
I think that's exactly what it is. Just like most other "reality" trash TV. The viewer should feel superior and better about herself.

I was forced into watching "My Big Fat Fabulous Life" yesterday with my girlfriends family. It's just incredibly sad that these fucks can get on TV and make it seem ok to be that huge. It's wildly irresponsible and downright dangerous to be glamorizing these bipedal elephants.

Yes. It's the same with tabloids that show off a celebrity's "massive" 10 pound weight gain. The fatties eat this up and laugh at the "fat" celebrity, talking about how s/he really let himself/herself go...when they could stand to lose 10 pounds x 20.

Like when you poop in the shower and have to squish it through the drain with your heal?
