OK, serious question: is there any difference between Saudi Arabia and ISIS apart from the fact that Saudi Arabia is happy within its own borders and ISIS is fighting to expand theirs?

Saudi Arabia is not happy within its own borders, that's why they a pouring tons of petrodollars into Western countries to build mosques. The goal of islam is to spread and conquer non-muslim countries until the whole world will be under the shariah.

If I recall correctly, Saudi Arabia achieved its current size by conquering three other kingdoms, but after that they've mostly played nice internationally, so their Islamicism only comes up in the same context you'd see any other cruel third world nation's domestic policies come up in.
To elaborate on what /u/AOU said, they do wage plenty of jihad, but the big difference from ISIS(and what let it go unremarked since the house of Saud took power) is that they don't do it with the sword, but instead by sending radical imams to the four corners of the globe with the goal of integrating into the community and spreading their teachings. This is extra dangerous because, while you can quote the most vile portions of the Koran and Hadith until you're blue in the face, most Muslims haven't really given a damn for centuries; this means that the Sauds can get lost in a crowd, so to speak, and wage their jihad in the beginning by undoing the ravages of time and reawakening the violent call of Mohammed in those areas.

Aaaaand presenting to you, citizen, the despicable House of Saud as the newest member of the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC).

How so? The world trade center disaster was perpetrated by a Saudi prince and his fellow countrymen. At least ISIS is honest about their desire to kill, instead of stabbing in the back.

Dear Saudi Arabia,
fuck you.
Sincerely,
The modern world.

CNN would disagree with you.

CNN disagrees with anyone that doesn't adhere to their ideal of a multicultural Marxist utopia, no matter how many bodies left in their wake.
