I'm 23 and sterilized, get a good doc, make an appt, and start talking about it now. Make a list of reasons, be honest and frank, maybe even talk to a counselor to have them write a letter saying you are sane and reasonable in your decision.

If they can't do it, they still may be able to refer you to someone who can. Also, Reddit Childfree has compiled a list of childfree-friendly doctors.

Please don't dismiss her beliefs just because she is young. There are many of us, myself included, who always knew we never wanted to have kids. I was firm in my childfree decision well before I reached her age, and now, at 35, I've still not wavered from it.
