I know the Gears of War series was pretty big but I never played any of the three. I've also never played any Mass Effect games, they just didn't seem interesting to me then, maybe I'll try again. Just thought of another as well: GTA. I played Red Dead Redemption and loved it but I have never gotten into any GTA game besides a little bit of San Andreas. I remember trying GTA 4 and I could never get past the early missions and I never really enjoyed driving around or anything like that either.

Metal Gear is the big one I would actually want to play at some point. Also GTA now that I think about it. I've always thought GTA looked like something I would enjoy, but I just never picked any of them up. I plan to break the streak with GTA V as soon as it's out.

Whenever I meet someone and I tell them I love video games, typically the first thing they say is "Oh yea.. Halo's awesome." And I respond with: "I wouldn't know."
I can honestly say in the Year 2015 I have never touched a Halo Game.

To be honest, Mario. Don't get me wrong, I love Nintendo games. I still play my Gamecube all the time. Mario was just never fun for me. Super Mario 64 and the DS versions are exceptions since it had open world free roaming. That had me. I love open worlds and can't resist them. The rest of the Mario series put me off though. I just couldn't get into them.

Pretty much anything Pokémon. I truly don't understand its appeal. Or maybe I was simply too old to "get it" when it first came out.
I think I was sixteen when Pokémon hit the States, and it was pretty openly marketed as something for kids. Atop of the cartoon (and my dislike for anime in general), I think my interest was doomed from the start.
Add that to being a teenager in the late nineties: I had Grand Theft Auto, Diablo, Quake, Duke Nukem 3D, and the PSX rolling out its heavy hitters at the time; comparing Pokémon to those things, it couldn't be any lower on my list of gaming interests. I largely dismissed it as being another kid-fad anyway, like how pogs were a few years prior.
It still weirds me out to this day, honestly. I see the target audience/age demographic for the time, and they're all college kids now - going to University with their Pokémon things in tow. It immediately elicits some weird 4chan/b/v/ neckbearded-manchild association to me, which makes it even less appealing in my eyes. I'm not even sure if that's a fair assessment to hold for the series and its fans, but the outspoken fans I have met, didn't really make any strides to break that stereotype.
I did end up finally pick up Pokémon X last year out of curiosity and see what the hell the series actually is. I found it okay, but I ultimately put it down after about 8 hours. It's not a bad series by any means, but I've come to terms with the fact that the series just isn't really for me.

Saints Row is a series I've never played a game from. I loved Red Faction Guerrilla, but never tried SR for some reason. I also have only played the demo for Crysis 2(maybe 3, or both, I don't remember) but I've always thought they looked cool

Oh my goodness.. o_o definitely play the first 4. Those are 4 series I will literally never forget until the day I die.
~Ignore Dead Space 3 however.

I've only played a bit of Bioschock from that list. I tried playing it again recently, but it kept freezing so I had to stop. I think I played a demo of Dead Space 2 actually, I thought it was cool, but never got around to buying it
I want to try Mass Effect and maybe Metal Gear sometime, but I don't really have any interest in Prince of Persia
