No he's not, arctic and antarctic are two different things. But you're obviously a climate scientist so I don't need to tell you that the one that's still melting is the one making sea levels rise, and antarctic ice doesn't affect sea levels

The funniest part is, people think that just because I post a news story I agree with the content. NEWSFLASH. I like to post things that people have strong opinions about, in order to engage them and get them to upvoat the submission. Here is my opinion: I don't know.

Then where the fuck is the water coming from? Last I checked sea levels were still on the rise.

There's many things, besides the only thing they talk about (arctic ice) that cause sea levels to rise. All the toxic waste, Japans nuclear disaster, spilled oil and trash they throw into the ocean makes the sea levels rise. Underground volcanoes creating more land could make sea levels rise. All the fish that are being taken out of the ocean (over fishing) can no longer drink/process water which can cause the levels to rise. China building islands in the ocean can cause the level to rise. Rain also can cause sea levels to rise. Who knows what else governments/big business are doing in secret under the ocean. They put cables in the ocean so we can talk to each other across the seas (this should make a small rise in level shouldn't it? Everything in the ocean does. Oil rigs and drilling equipment, bigger and bigger ships, sunken ships, wouldn't these cause a rise in sea levels?. All these added together could cause a rise in sea levels. Right?

And who's to say they aren't fudging that "sea levels" data also to keep up the charade. It is a big business.

You could be right. I can't wait to see a good white paper on this.

It looks to only be rising in the Tropics There appears to be a large rise in the Gulf of Mexico, likely due to how Florida sucks.

Thermal expansion caused by global warming?

Antarctic is different from Arctic. One affects sea levels the other doesnt. And the one we don't want to melt is still melting.

But carry on with your fox news circlejerk

Quoting the article:

Even earlier, NASA reported in October 2014 that Antarctic sea ice growth was at a “record high extent this year, covering more of the southern oceans than it has since scientists began a long-term satellite record to map sea ice extent in the late 1970s.” “On Sept. 19, 2014, the five-day average of Antarctic sea ice extent exceeded 20 million square kilometers for the first time since 1979,” NASA said.

OK, yeah, sure SEA ICE is increasing. Key word is SEA. SEA ICE. Sea ice is not the same as LAND ICE. Land ice is being decimated, that that doesn't show up on all that imagery. Climate deniers can keep parroting the SEA ICE numbers, but growing SEA ICE is being countered by the decreasing LAND ICE.
