Not your genes, but prenatal genetic engineering isn't too far off to begin considering legal ramifications.
I would imagine it would be more like Monsanto's Extra IQ Boost (TM) don't leave your baby's intelligence up to chance

Corn existed in nature. Monsanto has bastardized it. Don't think they would hesitate to do the same to humans for cash.
