Linux is like a vaccine...
You can still catch things if you're not careful, but the system (and behavior hinted to the user of using only repositories with FLOSS) protects you more than others.

This reminds me - and I know it's somewhat in the wrong place - but Torch Browser. Does any one use it? Torch Shopping was an extension I got rid of, but my antivirus removed it as Malware and I had to make an exception for it. Is it safe to use?

your antivirus probably reacted due to a torrent you were downloading, I think.
Torch is okay, it doesnt serve you ads, and it has a torrent client in build. Though tbh I will never use anything other than qbittorrent for my torrenting needs

It was as I installed it. It's the first AV that freaked out at it.
Yeah, I usually use qBittorrent too, just prefer Torch on my laptop as it's got stuff-all storage space.
