The war on boys and masculinity manifests itself in a number of ways. Preventing children from engaging in playhunting and playfighting falls squarely under the policy makers' psychosis of treating boys as defective girls.
Do you know what human boys and young men have done for the entire length of human history? They've simulated fights, competition, hunting, defense, and aggression in safe environments where the tribal rules ensure that no party will take things too far. They throw footballs instead of javelins, then chase and tackle their wounded prey. They get into scuffles and learn their own strength and the power of their anger. They pretend a stick is a bow and arrow and defend their tribesmen by killing those that would kill them, then they switch places, or pretend to kill one another with guns, then draw stories about it to show their friends later.
We know that artificially suppressing these urges doesn't make them go away. A child role playing as a hunter, a soldier, a cop, or a villain is not some toxic activity borne from nothing; it's an expression of a natural urge that's at the core of what it means to be a boy. The only thing these schools do is suppress the boy's natural outlet for his energy, his desire to gain physical confidence, and his natural thirst to develop spatial awareness and hand eye coordination.
The consequences for suppressing, punishing, and cowing boys into regarding their physicality as a shameful aberration is that you raise a bunch of pussified, awkward young men. Or, worse, having had their development stunted, they lash out and can't handle their own anger, and turn to real violence. Policymakers then blame these mass shootings on masculinity, and clamp down even more.
Edit: By the way, don't believe me about feminized policymakers? This is the photo the principal makes publicly available on the school's website, and this is how he chooses to present himself: https://i.imgur.com/jnMTPAF.jpg.
It could be coincidence, but this is exactly the sort of mental picture I had, though I never suspected he would present himself to his school by showing them his relationship with his obese wife fiance. I compare images like this to my mental picture of a school administrator in the 1950s...Principal Strickland from Back to the Future, let's say. Which one do you think would ban dodgeball, contact sports, make it an expelable offense to draw a picture of a gun, and tell parents their boys should be prescribed Ritalin?

He should have pretended to have a clock... I hear the president along with major universities and corporations love those.

It's funny how you can curse, flip off, or do any other offensive thing with comparatively minor consequences; but as soon as you point your finger at someone pretending it's a gun or bow on the playground you can get suspended.
