I gotta say I think that writer nailed it. And he also nailed why I'm more and more hard pressed to give a shit about modern gaming. Always online drm, waiting for patches, waiting for matches, lag, bugs, glitches, nerfs. These are all things that create more and more of a Rube Goldberg Machine around just trying to have some fucking fun already. I just want to hit the power button, and then revel in the effectiveness of my agency!
