I immediately thought of the claims that previous civilizations were able to move things using sound. I believe this also ties into some of the claims about techniques used to build Coral Castle. This tractor beam would certainly be another incarnation of the concept but it also helps to verify the potential.

I hadn't thought of that correlation before. Good point. I've read all sorts of stuff on how the ancients used sound waves, but it was always in the realm of "fringe science" Well now... looks like we can do it after all.
(I also believe we are much older and had much higher civilizations in the past. Then some sort of crash or fall happened in the way back and I think we lost a lot of knowledge in the process and had to "restart" as a species...)

I like Robert Shoch's contention that Mass Coronal Ejections could have played a role in extinction events. Perhaps these forgotten civilizations advances would not look identical to our own but achieved similar aims. I was reading that the "sonic" argument for pyramid construction extends from Massoudi's 10th century description that the Egyptians used "magic spells" to move blocks. I can see some rationale that his description was a fabrication, but it may also have been the only language Massoudi had available to describe a complex, advanced process.

Ok, let me get this straight.
We have EM drives for propulsion. We have small scale thorium reactors for power. We have Vuan Bruan ships for hulls. We have advanced energy weapons (lasers, mazers and particle beams and rail guns for defense. We now have tractor beams, for, you know what ever. We have quantum computers for interstellar communication and navigation.
Why the fook are we not building starships?????? ...oh ya, endless war that eats up a few trillion dollars a year

I couldn't agree more. Too bad some of that money can't go to NASA.
