For extra salty tears upload pics of post-weightloss stretch marks/extra skin using body acceptance tags
I have this scar on my face, just above my lip, from when I had a bit of skin cancer removed. I'm really self conscious about it, but I've always thought that it's things like that that #effyourbeautystandards should be for. Love the idea of including things like ungroomed brows and makeup too :)
All this talk makes me sad for the first time that I have an "invisible" handicap. damn!

I've got half a face of (normal looking) scar tissue from a bike crash, plus a stomach fill of needle marks from t1d. Does that count?

They have created beauty standards of their own which they insist on imposing on everyone against their will. Using the same hash to post actual beauty is most appropriate for effing their standards.
what is wrong with the "beauty standards" now? they're basically look healthy and trimmed by being healthy and trimmed
also, if you use the hashtag the way you say, will it look like you're supporting tess? will anyone understand that you're using it ironically?

Technically we are not, the tag was created as a way for fatties to scream out "I'm fat fuck and you better tell me I'm beautiful" by posting other things, like for example a super muscular girl, we are changing the meaning of their tag, and thus taking away their "safe space"
Edit: grammar Edit 2: spelling

This this this!
Effyourbeautystandards should be for cripplingly short guys and girls, for people with disfiguring congenital defects, for the scarred, for the truly brave and strong who decide to live to the best of the abilities despite their disadvantages.
But of course, there's no greater cause than lazy tumblr fatminists, is there?
