Just to be the devil advocate.....
In Europe its a recognised mental illness and women don't get convicted...

As much as I hate fats, its alegit medical condition and should be treated as such..
Yep. In Canada, women aren't even allowed to have the kid with them for the first few nights. Sure, they see them throughout the day, but never unsupervised; specifically in case that postpartum depression kicks in.
The thing is, that can only happen in a hospital or other supervised environment. Who the fuck would have a baby in the bathroom? That's beyond postpartum. That's some serious mental imbalance shit. Or, at the very least, unfathomably reckless.
