Typical sugar-addicted fat logic there. Sodium is bad, because it's easy to cut back on. Can't cut back on the sugar, oh no, just eat "healthier" sugary snacks.
[–] ShitArchon 0 points 12 points 12 points (+12|-0) ago
How is sodium even a problem compared to calories? Being fat is worse for you than an excess-sodium diet.
[–] smelly_farts 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
Well they do tend to synergize, since they both make your blood pressure go up. They also are both added by companies by the metric fuckton to nearly every food in the store which sucks.

Agreed. To be fair though, you're going to feel like shit when you eat too much sodium.
The water weight is easy as hell to lose, mind you.
[–] ThisIsMyRealName 0 points 8 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago
Yeah, at least you can piss the sodium out with enough water intake. You can't just piss out sugar.

Worse still, fat logic thinks being "healthy" for a week constitutes a respectable effort. Instead of reprogramming their behavior to eat in a genuinely nutritious manner, they make short-term, impotent gestures like this.

If you're eating an otherwise clean diet, some salt added to a handful of nuts is no big deal.
[–] Phillyshitlord 0 points 4 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago
Few things funnier than hand running a healthy anything...

Just the concept of a "healthy week" is fatlogic in itself. Even if the snacks they chose were genuinely healthy, changing your eating habits for one week isn't going to do shit for your health if you just return to old habits afterwards, and we all know that's what these hams are going to do. It does give them a reason to pat themselves on the back, I guess...
[–] LegendarySock 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
It's not even that. They're not going to change their eating habits for a week and then go back, they'll just add 2lbs of fruit snacks on top of their daily menu and call it being healthy.
[–] Carsandsarcasm 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
It's a pretty sad commentary that Healthy Week even exists.
