They love there sweet teas down there. all i ever see when i see shows based in the south is people drinking sweet tea. Do they serve any to drink other than sweet tea? or is it a state law that all meals must be served with sweet tea?

To be honest I do love sweet tea as well, I just don't drink 10 glasses of it a day. It's just a really common drink here, like hot tea is in England and hot chocolate is in Ireland. A cold glass of sweet tea on a hot summer day is very refreshing.

oh exactly we all have our guilty pleasures on my heavy run days (10 11 miles) i do treat myself with a 20oz mnt dew i know its terrible for me but that is the one thing i drink that is bad for me, i rarely even drink beer, but i earn it because i burn 1500 calories and i can afford to drink that once in a while just not a liter a day!

I recently saw a recipe in our local paper for chicken marinated in sweet tea. :(

I'm right there with you, honey. Southern girl here! And it's ridiculous how fat everyone is. Two of my professors are obese (and every day is a struggle to not fly out of my desk and beat them until they STOP FUCKING MOUTHBREATHING LIKE WTF DOES YOUR NOSE NO LONGER WORK?!) A good handful of my coworkers are obese. And then, you know. Hambeasts spotted in the wild.

All day. Erryday.

I can run a mile at an 8 minute pace without opening my mouth.

This is why they're so big, of course! By gulping in air through their mouths, they're taking in more, you see, which makes them bloat. It's not fat, but air retention! /s

(Also, I love your name <3 I'm channeling my own inner sith lord today: Black (fake) leather pants, black (fake) leather boots, Vader shirt, Star Wars "letterman" style jacket.)

I have heard fatties before I've seen them - multiple times. Were they in the middle of a run (lol)? Lifting big weights (lol)? NO. They were standing in line. How horrible is your life if you're wheezing just to exist? Just end it already. Ugh.

Edit: I've heard that vegans do it with veggies.

We do all sorts of things with veggies (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

But, yeah, my brother-in-law is a super fat (ughhhh) and we all went to the movies once and I had to sit beside him (ughhhhhhhhhhhh). CUE HEAVY BREATHING THE WHOLE FUCKING FILM. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU. YOU'RE FUCKING SITTING. DOWN. STATIONARY. LIKE GODDAMN.

Being a vegan in the south is a fun time I'm sure.

I don't eat out often, so I normally fly under the radar ;)

I'd say it's actually pretty convenient, there's LOTS of local fresh produce (at least in Alabama) since we have a lot of farms, and there's a big farmer's market mentality that we should 'buy local' (which just means get it from the local farmers around the area at farmer's markets). I'm from a wealthy suburb and I was still never more than a 15 minute drive from a good farmers market on any given day especially during the summer

The government will have to do something to stop it soon and they know it. But if they dont, it will be time for a shitlord uprising.

Move to the Netherlands OP, yes we have fatties but the planetary ones are still quite rare and people mostly don't get fat anywhere near as early as in the US/UK.

Just give it time. Fats are like the Energizer Bunny (or Duracell bunny for you Brits). They keep growing and growing and growing.

Fucking fatties are moving here by the truckload. In the past year or so I've noticed quite a few more tubbies. It sucks

But moving away won't fix the problem at home.

There are tons of other states that are more health conscious. No need to move so far.
