Why does anyone take this guy seriously he's not a scientist and many of the points he makes are flat out false. http://www.theguardian.com/environment/climate-consensus-97-per-cent/2014/nov/03/weather-channel-founder-not-credible-on-global-warming
And many scientists are making huge amounts off this study of global warming from various governments. You would be surprised what scientists would "consent" to when the grants flow like water. I'm not saying global warming is or isnt. What I am saying is don't trust a bunch of people who are smart just because they are smart, and even less so when they are being paid huge amounts of money for an international politically charged ideal that helps increase taxation. Just because a scientist says it is doesn't mean it is.
That and remember science is just a bunch of guesses that we consistently prove false as we learn more. Once they start calling things absolute fact they are leaning away from science. How long ago was it that atoms were absolutely factually the smallest particle to exist?

Many of the anthropogenic climate change denying Scientists sit on think-tanks sponsored by the fossil fuels industry.

grinding to a halt would be a stretch. I'm lazy and I want to continue to be lazy is hardly an excuse. I agree that there would be major repurcussions to lazy MNCs, developing countries that are thriving on cheap coal as fuel, its disruptive as hell, but there are plenty of alternatives and the subsidies given to fossil fuels could just be given to alternative/ cleaner energy.

Of course it's a scam, it is politicians that are pushing it.
