Bring it on, I can't wait 'till all jobs are obsolete. The government's hands will be forced to solve the problem and the only solution will be a /v/basicincome for all.

What will we all do all day long? Live maybe? Read books, make artwork, go for walks, have sex, and spend time with our families. Sounds like a nightmare. /s

/v/antiwork 's dreams are coming true. What a great time to be alive.

The AI trend is gaining on poor ordinary humans very quickly indeed, and most of you are too blind to notice. The age of the robots is almost here,

It boils down to who owns the robots. If you own robots and they work for you it is all good. If the big corp owns the robots you are out of job.

Let's face it, none of us want the damn jobs in the first place. We are only there for the money. The big corp is more than happy to get rid of you as a worker but they will do anything to keep you as a customer.

So Apple wants to replace its workers with robots but also wants you to keep buying iPhones. You on the other hand want to have an iPhone but don't want the drudgery of assembling phones in a factory with suicide nets under the windows.

The best move for the big corp is to buy robots and replace you while still selling you goods as long as you still have some buying power, which won't last long. Your best move is to buy robots which can assemble you an iPhone at home so you won't have to buy it. You want to have everything you need even if you have no purchasing power (this notion is kinda hard to wrap your head around in the beginning).

Basically you must become a robot herder.

As opposed to human trucks? I think they mean autonomous. :)
