Hillary Clinton is bad. I do not like her.
[–] ElectricBlankaHadou 0 points 6 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago
Clinton wins the nomination trump wins the election. Bernie wins the nomination trump loses the election.

I am supporting neither sanders or trump , but there is no way sanders could win debates against trump.

It doesn't matter what Hillary thinks. She is not going to be President. She'll be lucky just to stay out of prison.

CNN listed 45 times that Clinton spoke in support of TPP.
Why would anyone support this documented and repeated positioning of convenience on every issue?
[–] Dec_12 0 points 47 points 47 points (+47|-0) ago
Hillary Clinton's opposition to the TPP is the same as her opposition to the Iraq War. She was all for both of them until it became politically expedient not to be.

Are you implying that politicians act on what they believe will win them votes, rather than their personally held convictions?!
Next you'll tell me that war is about profits and expanding government power, rather than liberty and freedom!

Don't forget her position on gay marriage, either

Aren't politicians supposed to reflect the will of the people?
[–] TeamGalactic 0 points 20 points 20 points (+20|-0) ago
Ideally, people vote for politicians who represent their views. If the politicians change their views to whatever is most popular, they are probably disingenuous about their views.

Yes, but words are cheap. I'd rather pick the guy that consistently didn't want to put the egg beater in my ass than the guy that rooted the attacker on until I said I didn't like it loudly enough for them to pay attention.

Yes, but they are supposed to do so from the beginning, not when it becomes politically advantageous.
Almost no politician does this however.
