Lol, they mean the first adblocker FOR NON-JAILBROKEN APPLE that does that. Any rooted/jailbroken phone, Android or IOS, can block ads just dandy with its HOSTS file. In app ads are especially easy. (Windows phone users seem to be out of luck, but what do you expect when you use Windows Phone?)

Yea, ops title is terribly misleading. I don't think I've ever had an android phone that I didn't block app adds on.

I think Android can do this with root apps. Rooting is a process, but might ultimately be easier than switching platforms if the root ad blockers end up being a viable option for your situation.
