It seems like your cities' laws seriously favor tenants. It's the same here but to a lesser extent, they usually get about a year before eviction. It can be good and bad, some landlords do treat their renters badly but it sucks that scumbags can't be made to leave, especially if they bother everyone else. I think most people generally like to live in peace, it bites when a person or family destroys that. Makes me grateful to own a house now, with neighbors 30 feet away.

Edit: sorry. 9 meters away. I forget that everyone else uses metric.

In Britain we are taught both metric and imperial. I know that I am 5 foot 9 inches tall and that my doors are 2 Meters tall :)

Best of Both worlds, really.

You are right, too, it takes a lot to get you kicked out of a property.

Every time I hear about another countries educational systems all I can think is how much better they are than ours. Even in Ecuador, a third world country, they are taught English alongside Spanish.
