Any of the Savage 10 or 11 series in .308 will be more than sufficient. Or any of the Tikka rifles in .243 and up.

My advice would be to plan on getting a good scope, on some good mounts. I anything gets loose it will drive you crazy.

Savage has a good rep these days, and Remington has a bad one. If you have access to a gun show or a large gun store, the used rifle rack is always worth a look.

It will most likely be used and I am open to any type of action if they are competitive in accuracy and cost
