On the other hand, maybe its a doctor looking to make money off landwhales with hurt fee-fees because their original doctors told them to stop eating too damn much and lose some goddamn weight. In the end, any doctor will say the same thing; stop eating too much and exercise already!

This. It looks like a center that does bariatric surgery. They don't want to "fat shame" any potential clients or make them think they can take control of their weight without WLS.

But they say there is no known cure, which would include WLS.

There are many factors that contribute to the development of obesity including genetic, hereditary, environment, metabolism, and behavior.

There may be a genetic predisposition to hold fat over, say, muscle.

So you fix it by not eating so quaddamn much. Problem solved.

You could argue that obesity is genetic/heritable if you argue that self control is at least partially determined by genetics. And it would probably appear genetic in studies since children get so many of their habits, like dietary habits, from their parents.

The question is - What causes "severe" obesity? We know what causes obesity, but what causes someone to go from regular to severe and why do some stay at regular and don't turn into severe?

It's horrible that instead on focusing on getting rid of all obesity, they are wasting time and effort on severe obesity. If we can stop obesity, we will end up stopping severe obesity.

Since when did peoples opinions become facts now?

Since we forgot to cite sources, apparently.
