There may be a higher concentration but pure numbers still belong to Reddit.

It's probably the exact same ratio, just here they don't get banned, shadow banned, and kicked off of subs.
Well, they do get kicked out of some subs,

The racist crap annoys me, but it's part of free speech. I'd rather see that than the ridiculous astroturfing at Reddit - "Did you guys know Taco Bell is selling a new burrito? Oh man it's soooo good! You should all go to Taco Bell and try one! It's delicious! Man, I sure do love Taco Bell."

Best analogy I've heard for dealing with the racism is considering it the canary in the coal mine in regards to freedom of speech.

Not a bad question. I honestly don't know. I simply left reddit in search of something that didn't feel like a blatant internet advertisement paradise.
Can't honestly be sure if it is better but I have enjoyed the experience here more than I had been enjoying my experiences elsewhere.

cool, yeah someone in r/conspiracy mentioned it and my spouse (more internet savvy) was familiar. And I've been sure for a while that Reddit was a compromised medium

you already made the front page within 55 minutes of posting.

Voat also doesn't sell out to corporate interests. Paid-for topics don't magically make the front page to push an advertising or promotional agenda. Without a corporate board of trustees who need to turn a huge profit, a broader spectrum of discussion is the norm. Ideas and education on topics that don't flow with social justice critics and corporation interest are much more prominent and have an equal chance to be seen by the entire audience of voat.

Fresher content. Reddit used to be good, but now you can go days without checking it and not miss anything.

So far I have been able to have intelligent exchanges with the users here. Something very rare over at Reddick.
Also, I don't get down voted as vehemently when I express my opinion, even if it is not a popular one. Most people here seem to accept that not everybody thinks alike.
On Reddick, you usually will get harassed, called stupid or be ridiculed.

Dude, I got chewed out yesterday when I mentioned that I wasn't the biggest fan of 4chan when I was posting on an Oregon Shooting thread. It was unbelievable, but nothing that I'm not used to when I'm on the internet.
It was when I had literally the same links for three days on my front page is when I threw in the towel.

yep, you get fucked if you go against the crowd and sell out if you follow the flock

Depends on the subverse, I was censored on v/politics by a mod.
