So far I have been able to have intelligent exchanges with the users here. Something very rare over at Reddick.

Also, I don't get down voted as vehemently when I express my opinion, even if it is not a popular one. Most people here seem to accept that not everybody thinks alike.

On Reddick, you usually will get harassed, called stupid or be ridiculed.

Dude, I got chewed out yesterday when I mentioned that I wasn't the biggest fan of 4chan when I was posting on an Oregon Shooting thread. It was unbelievable, but nothing that I'm not used to when I'm on the internet.

It was when I had literally the same links for three days on my front page is when I threw in the towel.

Notice the lack of memes posted, and cliquey puns in the comments have mostly disappeared. The only stuff that gets banished to the forbidden zone by A and P, is stuff that any rational, logical thinking human being would agree should be.

I do not believe voat is any better or worse than Reddit. In my opinion voat is best when used beside Reddit. I like to compare and contrast between posts and comments. They balance each other. I do prefer commenting on voat due to the lower volume of posts.

Same, but to a much lesser fashion with actually using Reddit.
