Pretty good video - annoying camera operator. But lets be real I wouldn't know what to say besides a few shits and fucks.

He's trying to hype the video so he can sell it.

This guy struck me as incredibly stupid. "Oh noooo. They're shooting at people. I better get out of my car because a firefight is safe for bystanders."

I don't even know what to think about him. He was like a character from a bad stoner comedy.

In a relatively unrelated note, that's the first time I've seen a non-domestic police vehicle (looks like a Nissan that was parked in front of him with lights and a plain-clothes LEO that got out).

A lot of undercover cars are acquired through drug seizures.

They're very common here in Orlando now. Unfortunately.

My mom drives by this intersection every day to and from work and I drive by here frequently as well. My mom said the traffic was so bad in this area around this time everyone was stuck for at least 1 to 2 hours and she didn't know why. Well, now i'll tell her.

Am I the only one who found his reaction to be entertaining? What would possess him to get out of the car and run around in the middle of a gun fight? The thought of taking cover doesn't even occur to him.

Honestly, why even have marked cars? If there's cops everywhere in regular ass unmarked cars, why have both?

Because sometimes showing presence is necessary and sometimes being covert is necessary.

Unmarked cars make it easier to ticket and arrest more people. Doesn't make it necessary.

If you don't mind a lay opinion in response to your question, I think it's a matter of having different tools for different jobs. Sometimes it is important to have marked/official-looking vehicles (here is a video I'm basing this on), whereas there are obviously other situations where having a marked vehicle is detrimental to the purpose (surveillance comes to mind).

I imagine with this case, it was one of those all-hands-on-deck situations where they weren't picky about marked vs. unmarked. They just wanted to apprehend the suspect.

That guy just assumed the cops were going to kill that chick because she was black.

Right, because she was black. Not that she was running from police after a robbery and high speed chase.

That joke went right over your head.

The cops didn't seem to be shooting at her, but he thought they were going to shot an unarmed person running away while the whole scene was being visibly filmed by a stoner.
