What I did was create a Word document and rank my teams there, then just transcribe it over to the Google Docs. That way it's easier to edit my rankings, have them ready beforehand, and I can save it for next week so I don't have to start from scratch.

Also, a section for quips about the teams would be nice, I had a couple ones that I thought were good.

Atlanta Falcons: 3 plays away from being 0-3 (see Baltimore Ravens)

Baltimore Ravens: 3 plays away from being 3-0 (see Atlanta Falcons)

Should there be a comment field after each team or just one at the end of the poll?

Probably just one field at the end, since trying to come up with a thought for each team would probably take too long and most of the comments wouldn't be worth making anyway.

I submitted my rankings under the name @ShagginTurtles and put the Jets first.

Why do you assume it was a mod?

Are you saying the Packers won't be 32? Turtle, I used my total honesty to rank each and every team.

Okay, so after looking around on surveymonkey, I think this can be done. However, I think it's going to require 32 different survey pages, so you'd have to make your selection for #1, click next question, and then that team would be removed from the choices for #2 and so on.

Edit: Never mind. Those surveymonkey features require a paid subscription.

I got this going because some of the users requested it. In all honesty, I would love for someone to be able to take it over or do it better. With work full-time and school at night, google forms seemed to be like the option with the least hassle. There were some other services I looked into, but the free versions of those services were kinda limiting.

I'll look around some more and maybe there's something out there.
