Would have a point? I practically refuted your statements. You would get VR running on a PC better, for less; this is how it always has been and how it always will be with peripherals.

You're missing the point. You're essentially trying to say "because it has the potential to work better on a PC, it must suck on a console". Clearly this is not true. Not only does it work well on what you believe is "underpowered hardware", it works well enough to provide an enjoyable experience.

No, I don't; that'd be illogical, it does not make sense. Your original post wasn't specifically about VR, it was about optimization of code on specific hardware.

Also, the new consoles were outdated the time they released(just FYI, the X360 was much more impressive, relatively speaking). Also remember that what is considered enjoyable is entirely subjective. I don't find playing games in 30fps to be enjoyable, ever.
