Plenty of stupid here. I thought there was a time people went to college in order to broaden their exposure, to meet different people, and debate their ideals. What a travesty that our higher education institutes are being reduced to over sensitive hugboxes. Don't censor them, debate them, unless your faculties are so stunted for lack of being challenged that you can do nothing more than shout down a dissenting opinion rather than assess its merits and refute it points rationally.

Heh, my mom did that, then she'd turn around and chew the shit out of me any time I stepped off her carefully manicured path to success (hilarious, given the fucking wreck she is). Took me twenty damn years to realize I should've been listening to dad the whole time.

I wonder if the ACLU has anything to say about this :/

Sad, if not scary that more and more folks are being silenced simply because they don't toe the liberal line.

The ALCU only takes up liberal causes.

You mean like when they defended the KKK's right to march?

Are you fucking nuts? They have defended some of the vilest of the vile - including the KKK. Here is a great essay from the ACLU's site about why we need to protect even the vilest of speech (using the Westboro Baptist Church as an example).

Of course the ACLU abhors the speech that the KKK makes, they defend their right to say it. Of course, if you're a liberal organization representing a repugnant person like a KKK grand wizard, of course you get your digs in by assigning it to a black attorney.

The update I think pretty clearly shows the group has the blessing of the dean. Talk about clickbait.

YAF statement on the issue

it seems the prog-cogs have taken to brigading the YAF's article giving their side of the story.

Next it will be the BBQ club, it offends the vegetarians and vegans. Then it will be car club, they want to gather together and talk of mechanics, car mods, and restoring classics, but, they must be banned for their anti-green fossil fuel burning attitudes. The chess club should be banished, it's a game of conflict, conflict is bad, we should promote games of "get along" not conflict m'kay, etc. etc.
