Shame he only had 20 minutes. I would like to see some in depth analysis and less platitudinous arm waving connecting all things negative to a lack of psychedelics. Anybody know if he has written or orated any of this in more detail?

There is so much to be learned about consciousness and the psychedelic experience. Personally I took the long road of reading, meditating, and thinking deeply about what I wanted to gain from my LSD experience. I would not recommend LSD without consulting with an experienced teacher or guide. At the very least reading the latest books on psychedelics. If you are comfortable and happy and do not want to risk your complacency in life, forget it. Psychedelics are tools for the mind that require time, study and understanding. Science has been blocked from using these tools for too long. Good TED talk, it's a shame they feel like they had to remove it from Youtube.

Misleading title. It's a TedX talk. Basically anyone can do one of those. Per wikipedia-

TEDx are independent TED-like events, which can be organized by anyone who obtains a free license from TED, agreeing to follow certain principles.

I remember watching this, its pretty interesting and its the drug in question has a real interesting history behind it. Most people that talk about their experiences with it say it changed their life

I haven't watched this yet, but I will when I have time. I am sure it is a very interesting talk but I downvoated you because the title screams upvoat me and is clickbaity. I hope we can try to avoid that on voat.

LOL. This is the title of the video on youtube. Voat 'chose' the title. I guess I could have been more creative and came up with my own title but it is what it is!

I gotcha man. It just seemed more click baity than it needed to be, but I don't blame you for using the exact title of the video you linked to.

> Allready, Voat is suffering from many of the problems reddit had. People posting about karma and front page. I wish we could treat this as a place to find interesting stuff instead of a childish competition to get to the front page.

Graham Hancock is the man. I've read a few of his books, always gripping to get immersed in his mind's logic.
