Created account, confirmed e-mail. Got sorted into a house. Clicked on a link and read a blog post. Clicked another link which kindly pointed me to a page saying my account was deleted. I had literally used the site for less than 10 minutes! I didn't even get a chance to screw up! I thought it was a fluke, so I tried logging in, but no luck. Easy way to lose my interest.

Oh wow, really?! I don't know why it would delete your account like that. :( That really sucks. To be honest, I mostly joined Pottermore to get sorted. I liked the old Pottermore a lot better than this new one. The old one was a lot more interactive; it had message boards for the houses, a Potions class game, Dueling Club (where you got to duel other people from the site), and an interactive book facts section with new info (articles from J.K. Rowling, factoids, etc). The new site seems more like Buzzfeed for HP fans.

Pottermore never really caught my interest. I liked that it offered more information, but I disliked the effort of gathering said info. I want to be able to quickly reference the news and search through the topics quickly. The new site seems to offer that better than the previous one.

I, personally, am rather unhappy with the change. Part of what made Pottermore so fun to be on was the interactive aspect of it. This new look is so bland and lacks the life of what it used to be. What do you all think?
