Paul is better than the other GOP candidates, but he is a climate change denier. That should disqualify you for president.

My other main gripe with him is that he consistently misrepresents Sanders's platform and caricatures him as Joseph Stalin. Not much honesty in that.

The junior Senator from Kentucky [Paul] was, after all, one of only 15 GOP Senators who voted for an amendment earlier this year stating climate change is real and that humans contribute to it. What’s more, he told Bill Maher last year that he’s not necessarily against regulation of carbon dioxide, the main driver of human-caused warming.

I would be very happy with this news if it didn't seem like he was faking it

You're quoting from an article titled Don’t Let Rand Paul Fool You On Climate Change. Seriously, trouble yourself to read the entire article or quote it honestly.

Edit: sorry for duplicate response, I replied directly from my inbox.

I really like both of them. Bernie Sanders doesn't pander to anyone and is as real as a politician can get, but I wish he understood economics a bit more. Rand Paul panders a bit too much(understandable considering the religious right has a say in whether or not he is even nominated), but has a decent understanding of economic theory. Either way I hope both are nominated in their respective party. It would make for an exciting election and much better than Hillary and Bush.

agree that Paul versus Sanders would make for an interesting (entertaining) election but would challenge the criticism of Sander's economic understanding)

Contrast the current status of Kansas' economic situation with that of California. One state's economy is growing and vibrant while one has stagnated and is producing huge deficits despite slashing social and school program funding.

We could compare Texas and Michigan. One states economy is growing and vibrant, while one has stagnated and is producing huge deficits despite increasing social and school program funding.

Sanders v Paul would be an intelligent, honest, and informative debate. This is why it will never happen.

The most interesting thing to me about this article is I'm not the only one who thinks the presidential race will be between Rand Paul and Bernie Sanders and I've gotten it completely right for the last 15 years.

Yeah but Presidential elections aren't held every year. So you've been right 3 times.
