yeah but seriously, like why share that? I don't care. Most type 2's could even manage it mostly by diet, I've even heard of it being reversed.

Honestly I have no freaking idea except maybe they want someone to commiserate with, but they are coming to the wrong person. In a lot of cases, people who have type 2 due to their weight can reverse it when they lose weight, which is what drives me nuts. Don't complain to me about something you have and could get rid of when there will likely never be a cure for type 1 in my lifetime. I have great sympathy for healthy weight type 2s that cannot reverse their diabetes, though. From what I've read, they are more likely to face complications/death from diabetes than overweight type 2s.

exactly. If you can change your life by eating healthy why wouldn't you? Ugh, I feel bad for the healthy weight ones too, though I didn't know about the increased likelihood of fatal complications.
