Unfortunately, schools have been overrun with Cultural Marxists Parasites who reproduce through infecting young minds. Schools should be de-funded, quarantined, or burned to the ground. They should not be given more human young to feed on.

Considering I dropped out of college because the professors (in Montana, in the early 90's) couldn't speak understandable English and it frustrated me to no end, and I suspect that's gotten worse, not better, I'd still be where I am today. HS diploma and college dropout.
I learn best on my own in any case. The religiously structured and highly biased system that's called "college" is simply too limiting. Limited by the biases of the instructor, the limitations of time (you have 3 hours a week with a paid mentor), and focus on results rather than understanding all hinder the process.
As for "field of study", I rather like life skills. Cooking/baking, home repair/remodeling/building, plumbing, electrical, structural, auto repair, gardening, a smattering of solar energy understanding... shit that makes my life better in a tangible way. I'd rather do something myself than pay someone else to do it for me.
So my life wouldn't change. It'd be the same as it is now. I learn what I want, when and how I want, from a number of sources and then implement what works best for me/my situation.

Masters of philosophy. I think everyone could gain from studying philosophy.

If money wasn't an issue I would like to have a doctorate in psychology. I'm already fairly empathic and find myself giving out advice a lot. I'd like to be able to give out genuine and helpful advice, and be there for people who never really had anyone.

ok where are all the people who hated school? I know damn well I wasn't the only one.
I took "financial considerations" to mean the opposite of what most of y'all did.
If it werent for the strong financial consideration of the fact that you've pretty much GOTTA have that piece of paper to make any fucking money, i'd have stopped at high school.
One dude had it pretty close, the guy from montana. Different strokes for different folks and all.

I would never stop getting degrees and learning. I would be a lifelong student.
