I wonder if future employers will require potential employees to take an in-house company test in the future since high school diplomas no longer hold any value.

Some already do in some way. I had to pass a word processing and reading comprehension test for my current IT position. They've gotten burned by people who knew the tech, but weren't competent enough to work in a professional setting.

Wow, as somebody that grew up in the CA public school system, this is pathetic. At my high-school (same one Gabe Newell graduated from) the CAHSEE was a joke. I don't mean that as "oh only dumb people fail it." I mean that as one of the DUMBEST girls I knew back then, got a 100% on it, first try. Basically nobody failed.

If you fail this, go back to elementary school.

If you have a HS diploma for a California school, it is now worthless.

And California also gives diplomas to illegals at your expanse.

I'm not seeing anything on instate vs out of state tuition. If she paid out of state tuition then she's 100% in the clear to do whatever she wants. instate should only be reserved for those who reside and pay taxes in the state. I wonder if she did that.

CA high school diploma was already worthless, so I don't see how this changes anything really.

they're used to make sure that you can reasonably weed out the most dimwitted, you basically need it for anything important. Fail to get it, you're a dumbass. Jump through the hoop monkey. The hoops get smaller and smaller until only the smartest monkey's get to the end.

That test is so ridiculously easy. I passed it while completely stoned out of my mind back in 2005.

Seriously tho, wth kinda stupid are these kids. I loved standardized tests. You test the first half of the day, the do nothing the rest. Best part is they give you twice as much time as you need to finish the test so you get to catch up on your sleep.

Good lord, look at these simpleton questions. If you can solve this, then you shouldn't graduate high school.

  1. The five members of a band are getting new outfits. Shirts cost $12 each, pants cost $29 each, and boots cost $49 a pair. What is the total cost of the new outfits for all of the members? A $90 B $95 C $450 D $500
