You still don't get it. A core plank of his platform is ending illegal immigration on our southern border. Any shift towards amnesty would alienate the base and kill his campaign.
I'm not seeing how immigration reform is the same thing as providing amnesty to illegal immigrants. I'm also not seeing a realistic way to find all the illegal immigrants in this country. The best option politically would be to deport them, but that would also cause an economic shockwave through the industries that use them for low wage manual labor. There is no simple option, and pretending their could be is intellectually disingenuous.

Bernie has literally advocated for amnesty.
Eisenhower did it in the 1950s. With all the technology we have today, it should be even easier to deport illegals in 2015.
