I can't wait for the VA to legalize it. I've got a chronic pain condition and a leg with a plate and rod holding the bones together that still hurts a lot. Having been on pain killers for the better part of last year for my leg, not being in constant pain was awesome. Now that I've had my second surgery I'm back to debating taking painkillers for me chronic pain but the addictive nature and side effects of most are too dangerous IMO to start taking for something that's never going to go away and never get fixed.

Are there talks about legalizing it there?

I meant the Veterans Administration, whoops. Basically I can't wait for it to be federally accepted.

My opinion is that it should be legal, is far less of a problem than other legal substances (alcohol and pharmaceutical abuse), and has been made illegal because of ignorance.
I should add my opinion is very bias as I am a frequent smoker, it's not often that I don't have at least one joint every night. I guess you could say I abuse it, but I hold a good job, have raised a family and don't have any financial problems so I think the abuse is ok, I know it's not really 'good' for me, but I am the kind of person who needs some kind of vice to get by and weed is the lesser of all evils IMO.
