You can burn 5000-7000 calories a day? Holy shit... how do you eat enough to keep up when you're not cutting?

Be careful, there are actual studies that have been done on the maximum rate of fat loss. I believe it's around 1000 calories/day for every 30 pounds of fat.
This is why someone ridiculously huge can lose weight so fast, if you've got 120 pounds of fat on you, you can lose over a pound a day.

Much like everything else, their understanding of basic scientific concepts is distended.

Yes, the people losing a pound a day are usually immense, like 400 pounds overweight. Fat takes 3-4 cal/day per pound to maintain so that's a lot of extra.
For reference, muscle is estimated to take as many as 10 cal/day per pound to maintain, which is why gaining muscle mass helps long-term. 30 pounds of extra muscle can mean up to 30 lbs/year of fat lost or not gained.

And this is the difference between pro anas and anorexics. I admit I used to browse and participate on an ED forum. Those of us with serious EDs lost weight fast and (other than even more shameful contests) didn't promote it to anyone. We screamed at people asking for "tipz N trix".
The pro anas spouted their tips like a fountain, always loudly proclaimed their extreme diets, then had excuse after excuse for failing, giving up, or not losing weight. It was obnoxious bullshit.

Practical max for longer than few days is about -1000kcal. (From TDEE) About 1kg / week. Anything more is just water.
You can go lower for few days, but it is really not sustainable + you'll lose muscle.

Ha, yup, it's not permanent and I intend to gain most of it back. It's a water cut. I've done it before and it works.
