Could make it so two separate stylesheets are present one for day and one for night(how hard this would be is beyond me.) Also for disable custom themes you could get /v/ave it has that feature built in.

separate stylesheets for day and night mode exist, it just takes a little time and many mods just don't do it or don't know how.

You can easily do it with .light and .dark (making two separate ones for FPH currently myself.) But I mean in the stylesheet section there will be two separate sections. Say I go here: https://voat.co/v/ideasforvoat/about/edit/stylesheet it will have two boxes one for day and one for night. This would automatically add the filters for whichever version is needed.

There's a science behind night mode, it's supposed to be easier on the eyes. This is literally the first case I've heard of where night mode is hard for somebody to look at.

Not to say that I don't understand why people like day styled themes but they hurt my eyes. Just went to [] and it's normal theme is the day theme and I felt like someone was clawing my eyes out. As an alternative to disabling all subverse themes, either have a non-overwritable night theme or a per subverse "disable themes" setting.

I hate, with a passion, white space, especially if I code in a night theme, take time off with browsing voat with night theme, and then get hit with an ugly as sin CSS, migraine inducing day theme. In the end, I chose to disable all themes, as frankly, it is the simplest way of keeping bad design out of my feed. I can also agree with your final subverse specific "disable theme", as it doesn't effect me in any way, and I went with disabling all themes to make sure one or two I disliked were never seen again.
