Man, screw that. If the GOP is afraid Trump can sink them, then they best think about what trump is saying and it its resonating with the people. I sat through this in 92 with Perot. It will kill the republicans.

That pledge is specifically aimed at Trump because no other candidate has even hinted at running as an Independent if he loses the primary. And it's funny because someone posted this yesterday: GOP to unleash blitz of attacks on Trump after Labor Day

Devious, conniving, unscrupulous, underhanded Republicans! They want Trump to sign the pledge so they can go all out against him. If I'm not mistaken, regardless of states he wins in the primary, the delegates can still pick someone else, right? Sort of like the electoral college, although it would be unprecedented for Trump to with a state's primary only to have the state's delegates award to to another candidate. The GOP really want Jeb Bush just like the Dems want Clinton.

I hope Trump is smart enough to see through this GOP trick and keep his poison pill option open (running as an Independent if he loses) should the GOP sabotage his campaign.

Pretty sure what you're describing with the delegates happened to Ron Paul in 2012 and honestly I wouldn't be too horribly surprised if the same thing happened to Trump but the GOP has zero chance of winning the election if they do it to Trump and he runs independent.

Why is the Republican party so afraid of Trump? Or does it just seem that way?

Because they don't think Trump has a shot at winning the general election. Trump has pissed off the Hispanic and women vote, and those are huge voting blocks to alienate. Winning the Republican nomination with crazy right-wing Christian voters is one thing; Independents make up 43% of all voters, and most are left-leaning and surely won't vote for a radical Trump.

They owe their detonators the destruction of the country. Continued immigration of unskilled illiterates. Continued ignoring of bribes. Continued treaties that rape the economy. Endless wars that dont benefit us in any way. NSA spying. etc.

Georges Soros has publicly stated he's working to destroy the USA because it stands in the way of his profits. Others are working to the same end. All of them have the other republicans in their pocket.

Trump will actually try to make things better. At least that's his platform. The others are trying to spin the destruction of our nation to sound like it's something we should want, so they can live with themselves when they ruin it.

Source on Soros saying that? Not that I think he's a good guy or anything but that's pretty extreme.

Trump "cut the line" to contend for the presidency. These fucks in congress are only for themselves and not the people what so ever. They will cater to what ever group with what ever bullshit as long as it gets them votes to get rich while sitting on their ass selling out future generations of our children. We need more rich people like trump love him or hate him that say fuck you to the old way of letting these people fuck us over.

It's ever evident since they can almost guarantee a win from trump, but do everything in their power to shit on him and cut him out.

Oh GREAT. Just roll out a freakin' red carpet for him, won't ya...

You know what Trump will do? He'll throw it back in their face and score a shit ton of more populist brownie points.

"I'm not loyal to a party, I'm loyal to America." He can turn it around as a sign of weakness in all the candidates who followed suit.

I can already hear it D:
"I'm the real deal. When I tell you what my positions are, they're my positions, not dictated by puppet masters. All of those people who swore that oath, they're shills. Vote for a REAL candidate, and Make America Great Again™!"
